I graduated in 2009 from NYU with a degree in individualized studies meaning only that I created my own major. This proved to be an extremely indulgent and rewarding experience that left me feeling academically fulfilled, but a bit lost in terms of finding a place in the “real world.”
How many people are looking for a girl with a degree in ‘Literature through the Lens of “the Other”‘? As it turns out, my literary background and passion for Journalism, have fueled much of my post-graduate success.
I began working as a weekend assistant at the Partners Trust early in 2010 and I reveled in the solitude – I thrived in the quiet empty office. I now find myself as the Social Media Editor working Monday thru Friday with such a talented, dedicated and energetic team of individuals. Though sometimes I miss those incredibly hot Sundays hidden away at the back of the office hearing only the sound of my fingers as I typed away, I’m so grateful and happy to be a full-time member of this incredible group of people.
Outside of work I love music, books and travel. I also have an on-going love affair with fashion (of the lace variety), cereal and anything french. Whenever I need a pick-me-up, I just go to my parents’ home and visit with our dog Bronte….and my family, of course.
