On Saturday, October 8th the Westside Children’s Center, one of three Partners Trust Charitable Giving Fund recipients this quarter, will put on their annual Arts Festival, a fun-filled celebration of community and togetherness.
The Westside Children’s Center does crucial work for LA’s at-risk children and their families, providing immense, integrated services to enable and empower individuals toward finding success in their personal and professional lives. Their mission is to break “the cycles of intergenerational poverty, abuse, and neglect by creating a level playing field.”
With high-quality early education programs, vital health services, and a focus on family strengthening, the WCC has been working to better the lives of Angelinos and support its communities for more than 25 years.
The Arts Festival will be held at the WCC Early Education Center in Culver City. The event will comprise a plethora of family focused activates and services. Activities include performances, storytelling, arts and crafts, art booths and more. Services from the WCC such as health screenings and healthy cooking demonstrations will also be offered.
