Float through the modern architectural sensation that is 748 Amalfi Drive. Stylishly filmed to showcase the home’s inspiring design, the short film features model Kassidi Batt on a journey into each meticulously fashioned corner, set to the soundtrack of Parlours’ “Slowly from the Earth.”
When the concept for this newly built home began over four years ago, designers Daryl Olesinski and Martina Linden of O Plus L had a clear vision. The space within would be designed to flow naturally, one room into another.
“It is a very relaxed house, the kind of place you are comfortable walking around barefoot from the pool to the terrace, kitchen to the garden,” said Olesinski. “The idea is that the spaces fold over each other, every turn brings you a different perspective into and through the house.”
The film allows you to experience the sublime energy of waking up in the epitome of modern luxury on one of the most sought after streets in Pacific Palisades. Witness the calming environment born from light and texture amidst crisp, clean lines. “The building is not just space or materials or light but a composition of each and all of these,” said Olesinski.
Get a tangible sense of the craftsmanship and material used to craft the home, like the 28-foot concrete wall that forms its center and the 16-foot cantilever covered entry. “The actual entry for a pedestrian is off line from the far of the building so you can see the length of that overhang and how that surface pulls you into the building,” said Olesinski.
A true destination for luxury living, this California-modern home is a remarkable place to call your own.
