From Marina Del Rey’s Annual Boat Parade to Pasadena’s enchanted Descanso Gardens, every neighborhood in Los Angeles has its own unique way of spreading holiday cheer, and Santa Monica’s Sunset Park / Ocean Park community is no exception. Come this Saturday, December 9, the area’s popular shopping and dining corridor, Ocean Park Boulevard, will be hosting its annual Holiday Stroll. From 11 – 4 p.m., shoppers can enjoy holiday sips and special sales from participating merchants, including Partners Trust’s own retail outpost Openhouse.
This Saturday only, Openhouse’s current curator, Twenty/One/Seven, will be offering 20% off on all purchases and 30% off on all purchases exceeding $1,000—with 10% of proceeds still donated to the Partners Trust Charitable Giving Fund.
The self-proclaimed “free spirit” and owner of Glendale’s Twenty/One/Seven, Jean Marilla, shares that her inspired collection is a reflection of both her blended design skills and taste as well as her true persona: playful and eccentric. Regarding a specific theme, Jean says that visitors can expect a fusion of tints, textures, and patterns here and there, as well as black and brass elements everywhere.
Openhouse is a community outpost and retail concept that looks to both emerging and established local designers to fill its store with interior installations on a rotating basis. Located at 1728 Ocean Park Boulevard, the pop-up store sits on the ground floor level of Partners Trust’s primary real estate office in Santa Monica.
