With 100 percent participation from Partners Trust associates and increased efforts in events and fundraising, the Partners Trust Charitable Giving Fund has proudly announced three additional charities for the first half of 2017, each to benefit and impact children in need throughout Los Angeles.
In 2016 the Charitable Giving Fund had its largest impact yet, raising $100,000 for six recipients, including The Judy Fund, Give Back Homes, One Voice, EduCare Foundation, Westside Children’s Center and Inner-City Arts. The newly added charitable partners include:
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) provides matchless pediatric health care, leading-edge education for caregivers and innovative research efforts that impact children in L.A. and around the world.
The Pasadena Educational Foundation is committed to building dynamic community partnerships to support the public schools of Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre, creating a better future for students and the community through the arts, music, health centers, gardens and STEM programs.
The Children’s Burn Foundation provides support services for child burn survivors, ages 0-18, and their families, offering state-of-the-art reconstructive treatment, survivor and family assistance, and prevention and education programs that reach more than 70,000 children and families annually.
These organizations join three others as beneficiaries of charitable funds raised from January through June of 2017.
The National Breast Cancer Coalition is an advocacy group devoted to improving public policies surrounding research, diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer.
Cancer Support Community provides support to millions of people affected by cancer through online and community-based centers and hospitals.
Ronald McDonald House Los Angeles provides a “home-away-from-home” for families, granting them access to both specialized medical treatments and a place to stay.
The Partners Trust Charitable Giving Fund is a not-for-profit organization formed by Partners Trust which supports charitable groups that serve LA’s disenfranchised communities and the arts through initiatives for improved health, education and housing.
