Though the snow might not be falling here in Los Angeles any time soon, it’s the holidays and what better way to celebrate and embrace the season than by participating in the beloved tradition of ice skating.
There are many options for ice skating here in Los Angeles and wherever you chose to go, you’re sure to have a merry time.
Work off those holiday feast calories and get in the holiday spirit all across town. Here are some local spots to get your skate on:
Downtown on Ice at Pershing Square: Open through January 21. Monday – Thursday noon to 10 p.m. and Friday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Beverly Hills Holiday Skating Rink: Opens this Saturday, December 1 through January 6. Sunday – Thursday noon to 9pm and until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
ICE at Santa Monica: Open through January 7. Monday – Thursday 2 p.m. – 10 p.m., Friday 2:00pm – Midnight, Saturday 10 a.m. – Midnight, Sunday 10 a.m.- 10 p.m.
Holiday Ice Rink in Culver City: Open through January 6. Hours vary.
Woodland Hills Ice: Open through January 27th. Monday – Thursday 1 p.m.-10pm, Fridays 1 p.m.-midnight, Saturdays 9 a.m. – midnight and Sundays 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Prices vary and don’t forget the extra fee for skate rentals. Some places do offer skate lessons if you need a refresher and don’t forget to bundle up!
