Wick Ludwick Realtor

A third generation Southern Californian, I was born and raised in the Brentwood and Bel Air areas of West Los Angeles. My introduction to real estate came early, having watched my mother, Ginger, achieve great success as a Realtor with the once prominent Westside firms of George Elkins Co. and Norton Realty. Later, I traveled across the country to attend school at the University of Arkansas and graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. where I studied finance and real estate. Seeking a familiar temperate climate, I returned to my native LA and began a career in the construction industry.

I have since gained more than 20 years of experience, predominantly in the residential market, including the purchase, improvement and sale of a number of homes in the West Los Angeles area. Along the way, I sought to enhance my building and design skills by studying Architecture at a summer long professional program at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. Having remodeled countless properties, I bring a unique perspective to the real estate sales market. I have a keen eye for thoughtful, well-built homes and the experience to know how to effectively improve that house that just “isn’t quite right” yet.

I met my wife, Joanne, through our mutual involvement in a Children’s Hospital Los Angeles charity. We currently live in West LA with our three young children, Lauren, Paige, and David IV. When I am not selling homes, I’m trying to keep up with my kids on their bikes or at the playground, having recently mastered pushing two swings simultaneously. If time allows, I also enjoy auto racing, following Formula One and NASCAR, reading This Old House magazine, getting my hands dirty in a home improvement project or, with a little luck, maybe playing an occasional round of golf.
