My life in Altadena and Pasadena started over 30 years ago after I graduation from the University of San Diego. I moved to Los Angeles, got married and opened a marketing and advertising company where I gained a true understanding of client objectives and customer needs.
While raising my children, I opened Motif, a gift and home accessory store that served the Pasadena area for over 15 years. Marketing, advertising and customer service became second nature to me. Using these skills to pursue a real estate career was an easy transition. I find great enjoyment and huge rewards in working with people to find not just a house but a home. I begin by listening to my client’s goals, expectations and needs. Strategizing to meet and exceed these goals and expectations is a process that is based on building a trusting relationship.

My involvement in the community has included volunteering at my children’s schools, fundraising for a variety of non‐profit organizations, currently including the Pasadena Cancer Support Community, The Navy Seals Foundation, and Northrise University,a college in Zambia.

When my family and I began the process of selling my father's property in El Sereno, CA following his death, we knew little about how what we needed except for a lot of help. We found not only help but an ally, a real estate professional and a friend in Stephanie Miller.

My sister and I had a very complicated piece of property to sell. It was divided into different parcels with different tax rules, sale conditions, etc. On top of that, neither of us live in the LA area so we had to do the entire sale remotely. Stephanie handled everything for us. She listed the property, found us an escrow company and worked with them to solve the technical challenges of the sale, then she engaged literally hundreds of potential buyers until she got us the price we wanted. Stephanie handled the sale of my mother’s property in San Gabriel.
She carefully guided her through each step of the selling process, helping navigate repairs, inspections, termite reports and marketing the property.
I live in Minnesota, so it was difficult for me to help her with this process. I came out when the property went on the market and Stephanie carefully planned for the caravans, open house and showings so it did not impact my mother too much as she was in ill health.
