My life in Altadena and Pasadena started over 30 years ago after I graduation from the University of San Diego. I moved to Los Angeles, got married and opened a marketing and advertising company where I gained a true understanding of client objectives and customer needs. 

While raising my children, I opened Motif, a gift and home accessory store that served the Pasadena area for over 15 years. Marketing, advertising and customer service became second nature to me. Using these skills to pursue a real estate career was an easy transition. I find great enjoyment and huge rewards in working with people to find not just a house but a home. I begin by listening to my client’s goals, expectations and needs. Strategizing to meet and exceed these goals and expectations is a process that is based on building a trusting relationship.

I am accessible and responsive, ensuring all questions and concerns are resolved in a timely manner. Communication is key in this industry that is so fast paced and device
driven! My clients can rely on me for knowledge of the market, negotiation and strategizing skills, and a commitment to being their ambassador during all phases of the real estate experience and beyond!

My involvement in the community has included volunteering at my children’s schools, fundraising for a variety of non‐profit organizations, currently including the Pasadena Cancer Support Community, The Navy Seals Foundation, and Northrise University,a college in Zambia.

Outside of those of us who make a living in the real estate industry, a property sale is a rare experience in our lives. For most us it's also almost certain to be an emotional one. When my family and I began the process of selling my father's property in El Sereno, CA following his death, we knew little about how what we needed except for a lot of help. We found not only help but an ally, a real estate professional and a friend in Stephanie Miller. I began by asking several realtors for a comparative market analysis. I was immediately impressed by Ms. Miller's thorough, thoughtful analysis which was far and away the most reasonable and careful one done. We hired Ms. Miller based on her fantastic work and were soon even more glad we had. Suffice it to say, my dad left us with a mess, both figuratively and literally. The state of the property was atrocious and it is in a difficult part of town to market. Add to that the fact time and again we were made outrageously high, fly-by-night offers only to have them back away. Selling that property was a ... I'll admit it ... something of a nightmare. Yet Ms. Miller was an absolute rock. I can't even count how many times she calmed and patiently counseled difficult family members. She protected us from less-than-desirable prospective buyers. How much time she spent fixing legal issues and fighting for us, her clients, with other reactors I don't even know. She kept multiple family members informed and juggled it all with a go getter attitude, never once losing her belief and goal of getting it sold for seven months. Seven. Long. Months. I've been a professional journalist for a long time. I have met thousands of people in thousands of professions. I mean it with all my heart, soul and experience when I say I have GENUINELY never met a more dedicated, honest, real, hard working, loyal, knowledgeable, professional person than Stephanie Miller. When the property sold at last to a wonderful family who plans to raise their own family on the land I grew up in (which makes me nostalgic and happy) we all celebrated. It was a great feeling to not only have it done, but done right. You will likely only but or sell a piece of property a few times in life at most. My sister and I had a very complicated piece of property to sell. It was divided into different parcels with different tax rules, sale conditions, etc. On top of that, neither of us live in the LA area so we had to do the entire sale remotely. Stephanie handled everything for us. She listed the property, found us an escrow company and worked with them to solve the technical challenges of the sale, then she engaged literally hundreds of potential buyers until she got us the price we wanted. I recommend Stephanie fit for any type of real estate purchase or sale. She is tough, dedicated and willing to do the research when things get complicated

Stephanie handled the sale of my mother’s property in San Gabriel. She carefully guided her through each step of the selling process, helping navigate repairs, inspections, termite reports and marketing the property. I live in Minnesota, so it was difficult for me to help her with this process. I came out when the property went on the market and Stephanie carefully planned for the caravans, open house and showings so it did not impact my mother too much as she was in ill health. She even presented the 6 offers to us when my mother was in the hospital at Kaiser! I appreciate her kindness and compassion while also benefiting from her professionalism and negotiation skills. She was a true gem to my mother and my family! We were overwhelmed with the distance and she effectively made the whole process fairly painless. I would recommend her highly to anyone!
